Disc Spring / Belleville Washer /Flat Spring
Belleville washers, also known as cupped spring washers or Belleville disc springs, are fashioned like washers but with extra height. They have a conical shell. Due to their distinctive design, they can carry large loads with only slight deflections.
There are several applications and industries that use Belleville washers and disc springs. Examples include fail-safe braking systems, consumer power tools, and valve actuator assemblies.
